Founded on Friday April 18, 1919, Epsilon has been called home by many Omega Men. Throughout the years, the chapter has been fortunate to have loyal and dedicated service from numerous brothers. These Omega men are responsible for her great history and the impact on New York City.

Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance, and Uplift are the cardinal principles of our organization and drive our approach to positively impacting our communities. Within the context of current societal realities, the uplift of our communities is the primary goal and biggest challenge. Our membership is committed to selflessly giving our talents, time, and efforts to bettering the lives of others.

In 1919, the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity bestowed upon New York City, her fifth chapter. Epsilon Chapter was organized for students attending Columbia University, New York University, City College of New York, and other institutions of higher learning in New York City.

The Strength Of Our Chapter Lies In The Diversity Of Our Membership. We Have Brothers Of Various Ages And Professional Backgrounds In Military Service, Law, Medicine, Engineering, Entrepreneurship, Technology, Finance, Politics, Law Enforcement, Education And Non-Profit Leadership.

 

PROGRAMS

During the past 100 years, Epsilon Chapter has carried out the four cardinal principals of the fraternity; Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance and Uplift. Activities have been initiated in many of the areas public schools, churches, and in the communities of
New York City.

 

GOALS

The stated goal of Epsilon Chapter is to make a positive contribution toward continued enhancement of the greater New York City community.
